Group project by our dear Cartel & Sons team, redesigning the Wizard of Oz, Aztec inspired. I designed the Burlap-sack Scarecrow, brainless and 2x4-legged.


And the lineup! Artists Brendan Regulinski's heartless Conquistador, Tran Nguyen's Cowardly Panther, Collective Dorothy, My Mindless Scarecrow, and Sarah Schmidt's Wingless Flying Monkey, respectively.

Chenoo Munny

My Munny - check out kidrobot.com - as a Chenoo. The story of the Chenoo is a Native American legend about a man-eating beast who lives in the woods. One day a girl and her man go into the woods to camp out. When Mr. Man goes away to chop firewood, the Chenoo arrives to eat Lady. Lady, thinking fast, runs up to Chenoo, hugs him and proclaims, "Father! You've returned for me! I love you!!" The Chenoo, caught off-guard by her love, lives til his dying day with the couple who play love for fear he'll eat them.

826 Savannah!

Illustrations created for Caitlin McNeill's 826 Ad Campaign. 826 Savannah is a proposal for this city's chapter of themed tutoring centers called 826. They were used on the posters, T-shirts, and banner ads.

Audubon Annelise

We were assigned the task of creating a self-portrait within an existing 19th-century piece. Naturally, I chose to augment my ravishing good looks with the peckish body of a flamingo study, originally by the bird-killer, himself: Audubon. We also had to include some odject to modernize the piece ((trash, heyy)).

Richard Simmons

He's an old project. Richard Simmons composed entirely of spaghetti and hot glue, could hold at least 70 pounds of weight on his head (this was a structure project in 3D Design).

I completely forgot about my giant santa I drew this year on xmas eve. So... "Sorry this is coming to you late, I got tangled up in holiday cheer (beard)!" Merry February.

For the Kiddies

I have this distinct image of my childhood, which consisted of 4 television channels, and my dad locking me outside when I had watched too much of that. It sounds like child cruelty, but thank goodness for him. Oh, and the only toys I can remember were dirt and rocks. Oh, there were rocks.

So here's some recent work.
